GEISER THICK SLUDGES PUMP
Description
It is a type of pump traditionally and historically manufactured by Alfa. It has been designed to empty the settling pits and therefore to transfer even particularly thick sludge (up to 2kg/dmc).
The pump is immersed in the thick sludge which falls into the body of the pumping unit, which is completely metallic with spheroidal cast iron impeller.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
AXLE
Vertical pump axle with sealed chamber bearings dimensioned in such a way as to allow the lower part of the shaft to operate without supports immersed in the liquid.
COUPLING
Two-piece flexible coupling with protective casing.
BODY
Made of spheroidal cast iron with upward suction inlet to facilitate the flow of particularly dense sludge to the impeller.
DELIVERY CURVE
With interchangeable rubber sleeve for connecting the pump to the delivery pipe.
IMPELLER
Spheroidal cast-iron channel.
SUPPORT GROUP WITH EYEBOLT
Usually supplied because they are necessary for lifting operations.
PUMP STOP
Bracket for fixing the pump to the wall.
